June 2, 2024: The Novartis Oncology Young Canadian Investigator Awards (NOYCIA) Returns for its 21st year at ASCO 2024 Every year, NOYCIA celebrates the innovative work of ten Canadian researchers whose abstracts have been accepted at ASCO and who demonstrate excellence in their field of study. After thorough and objective deliberation by a dedicated Scientific Panel, ten Canadian oncology researchers were chosen based on the merit of their research to be the 2024 winners. They will receive a grant to support their ongoing work.

AUGUST 24-25, 2024: TOUR DE CURE 2024 Get ready for the 2024 Tour de Cure, sponsored by Wheaton Precious Metals, and take part in B.C.’s biggest cycling fundraiser. All proceeds go to the BC Cancer Foundation, supporting cancer research in B.C. This amazing event is open to riders of all backgrounds and skill levels, from beginners to experts. There are two options for the 2024 Tour de Cure: - A two-day adventure on Aug. 24-25, 2024, from Cloverdale to Hope - A one-day journey on Aug. 25, 2024, from Chilliwack to Hope Join the community of over 2,000 riders and volunteers as we fundraise and ride together. THE GREAT CYCLE CHALLENGE - RIDING TO FIGHT KIDS' CANCER - August 2024
The Great Cycle Challenge started in 2016 and has quickly become one of Canada's largest cycling events in just 9 years.
Participants of all ages and abilities from across the country set personal riding goals, pushing themselves to pedal throughout August to help fight kids' cancer.
Over the past 8 years, our dedicated community of riders from all 13 provinces and territories has collectively covered 24,200,181 kilometers, raising $46,960,208 to support research in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
